Default some quick help before the strip tomorrow....

i know this is kinda a broad topic. but i just need some ideas on what i should do at the strip to help tune the car. now i know how to do all the FPR adjusting and timing. i wanted to get some other opniions.

the motor is a built 2.0L (1.8 sleeved). with JUN 3 ITR head P & P. 310cc injectors, 190 walbro. this is in an integra BTW. i am using hondata, so i know i cant do a lot. the car pulls hard, but it is leaning out at vtec, then kicking back in.

vtec is set at 5K.. so right when i hit 5k, you can hear the valves open but it is sluggish, then it just hits and you take off. i run 93 pump gas. right now my timing is a bit advanced (no timing light, i know its risky) and running about 60psi of fuel (if i can remember correctly).

i just wanted to see what you people think could help the leaning out of v-attack. i know when hondata gets tuned it will solve this, but this is just so i can get as much out of the motor i can get.

ive been to the 1/8 mile once, ran a 9.01 with same setup but using 270cc injectors, full tire pressure (33psi), no tach and a fubared clutch pedal that is now fixed.

BTW, i am going to a 1/4 track tomorrow.

thanx for the last minute help

Raise VTEC to at least 5800 to start. How do you know that you are running lean? With 60 PSI and 310 cc injectors, you may be running rich. Timing is advanced? Too much timing and you will lose power. I hate to state the obvious, but : get it tuned!

If you are using Hondata, VTEC and fuel cut are not unchangeable.
Use the set button to change your VTEC engagement point-look at the installation PDF on Hondata's website, it tells you how to change your VTEC point.
