LS motor, i/h/e, comp cams, cam gears, new pulleys? Seems like no one has suggestions on LS build ups besides turboing it. I've got 134k on my motor, I can't afford a turbo kit right now, and I want a motor with less miles before I would turbo anyway, so, with the things I listed above, what kind of HP gains could I see, and how noticeable on the track?

 

I think you all have a huge "Don't post for this guy------>" type thing going on. I never get any help! Just give me some educational guesses if you don't know. I cross over from domestic to import, so I don't know about these gains. Just headers and exhaust on a camaro with a 350 gives like 20 horsepower right there. Performance chips, up to 16 HP gains from advancing time and things like that. Imports I have no clue though, so try and help a new import driver out.

but my guess would be about 145 - 155whp or so depending on product quality + selection and tuning.

some people don't have time to search and search so they just ask a quick question and want a little help. Why do some HT members have to be such dicks. don't know much about honda's but those mods would probably give about 5-10 HP at the wheels. I doubt ten, but then again who knows.

HP isn't like money, you can't add a cam that advertises itself as adding 10 HP. Yes, it can add 10 HP with other mods, but not by itself. It's not likely anyway. For a cam to be most effective you have to a good exhaust, and probably new valve springs as your motor has a ton of miles and the valve springs aren't as stiff as before.

If you want some mad HP gains then check out AEM's new V2 cold air intake, its increases HP and torque more so than their earlier CAI design.
