Does anyone know if a '90-'91 CRX dash and door panels will fit into an '89 CRX? I'm selling mine and someone wants to know before he buys it, and I don't wanna tell him inforrectly.

 

yes the dash will fit. as for the door panels. they will fit also as long as he has his seat belts in the doors also.

 

I'm pretty sure that '88-'89 had the seat belts on the B-pillar, I could be mistaken though. I know that the door panels will not fit on an '88, just not sure about an '89.

So as for the dash, If he changed the harness to the new dash, it'll go right in, right?

BTW, thanx for the reply. I just don't wanna sell someone somethin' they can't use.

My 89 Si has the belts attached to the doors

it will always go in like it is suppose to. if you do it right. i have done 3 crx dash conversions into a civic. and they look perfect.

 

Yes, the door panels from a 89-91 CRX are all interchangeable. It's just the 88 CRX that isn't. In fact I think you can use 90-91 Civic HB door panels too.

Yes, the dash from a 90-91 CRX will fit in a 88-89 CRX too. In fact you don't even need to change the whole dash. Just swap the cluster, cluster cover, hazard switch, dimmer switch, defroster switch, and upper steering column cover. Done.

 

do u need the inter guts of the crx dash? like the Venting and braces?
or will the stock civic meet up with the crx dash's center and side vents??
