thinking about selling my ej6 and fixin the crx back up.....
how come i never see a gsr swap or itr.......wiring?
anyone have a b20 i was leaning towards doing that swap.......

Do a search there are plenty of motors that people have put into the crx's/hatches. Yes there are people running the Type R and the GSR motors. Also the LS motors LS/vtec's, b20 vtecs, All different kinds of motor swaps have been done out there.
You see so much about B16s because its the cheapest and easiest DOHC VTEC swap you can drop into an 88-91 Civic/CRX. To install a B18C1, you pretty much have to double your expenses. Also, you would have to convert it to OBD-1. Most people can't justify spending $2000 more for 10-20 more crank hp.
there are so many engines u can swap into a 4th gen civic/crx, just keep looking around and do a search, search these engines

I just put a b18a1 in my rex and it pulls way harder than a b16a. I would rather have a LS than a b16a anyday. The only reason why people get b16a is because its vtec, and it has more hp than a LS, but it doesnt have more torque.

My stock LS will kill your lightly modded b16a, if its lighlty modded. Ill get you off the line because you dont have any torque, and after that u will have to play catch up, and i doubt very much if u will catch up. Whats your 1/4 time and whats your mods? And a EF is a civic.

welllll .. i had a b16 and it was dissapointing hype .. i pulled that garbage out after 2 weeks and dropped a ls. for the money you spend on ls you can make it go way faster than the b16 (drag that is). now im sure on a autoxross or on a windy road a b16 will eat up a ls. and as for that 3rd gear my half priced non vtec cams can make up for that. just my opinion that you can make the ls go faster for cheaper.

I've had both so far.. a b18a crx and a b16a crx and although the b18a has the torque ... you WILL get passed once you hit third gear, unless you have a vtec tranny... both swaps are justifiable and both are plenty of fun.... however, the b16a wins.

Enough with this my motor is better than your motor crap. Both are good motors for the price and they both can be quick.

LS vs B16a I have seen both B16a beat ls seen ls beat b16a.
If you have a strong b16a you would beat LS if ur b16a is a peace of **** to bad for you same for the LS
