what clutch for a turbo honda?
just wanted to see what brands to look out for.. pro's/con's.. i'm looking for something to hold between 8-12psi the most... 99% it will be 8lbs for a very long time.. i'm looking for a clutch that is not too heavy on the foot and that doesnt chatter too much..
i.e. i had a hyper clutch on my hatch with ITR motor.. ITR pressure place with that 6 ***** disc.. between hard shifts.. my radio fell out several times from the console along with the ash tray full of quarters.. and the dash had a tendancy to come out quite a few inches.. lol! now my friend had a rps turbo clutch which has a much heaver pressure plate but uses an organic disc that still grabs very well.. had that clutch while he was turbo now runs 75 shot of nos on it.. any ideas as to which one to get? tia

anybody reccommend exedy..i heard that all the other brands like act, clutchnet etc...are rebuilds of stock where exedy start from scratch..

For street driving, the ACT Xtreme PP mated with the organic street/strip clutch will give plenty of holding power and longevity. The racing clutches either the 4 or 6 puck will be much harder to drive on the street.
not true. the organic disc only lasted me about 7 months before i burnt through it. IMO the 6 pucks lasts longer. it may chatter in the begining but then u learn how to engauge the clutch and not make it chatter at all. and if u want to be on the safe side get a 6 puck sprung hub
