A guy locally is putting a crx si d16a6 engine into my 89 crx hf, he got the motor all bolted in and he says its throwing a code 15 and its not getting any spark. Now i know the problem has to be something with the motor or connections or something because it had spark with the hf motor. Now there isnt some special wiring that ha sto be done for the a6 in the hf is there? there both mpfi and obd-0 so it should all be the same. He tried switching dist's from the hf motor to the dist. but it still threw the code, anyone have any ideas? i need to get this car on the road asap so im not stuck driving this dsm anymore thanks

 

I'm almost sure the HF wiring is identical to the Si wiring? The only reason I'm not 100% sure is because I've never done the swap. Also, the HF and Si dists. should be the same. Does anyone know what the code 15 is?
