After my auto to manual swap completed 7/22/03, I have yet to purchase a new mount and bracket for the top of my transmission. The transmission is from a 95 ex. I know shortest D-series gears, but weak *** shift forks. The chassis is a 99 Civic DX. My problem is finding a rubber mount and a metal bracket to mount to the transmission.

My dilemna....... the top mount/bracket combo is complete different for the eg and ek. I have the rubber mount that bolts to the chassis of my ek, but I cannot find a metal bracket that will fit my ek mount on the chassis as well the eg transmission bracket. The tranny mount on ek's and eg's is completely different.

Anyone know of a place that may have a custom mount for an eg style tranny in an ek?? I'm not looking to spend mucho dinero here. I am in the process of saving for a swap, and fixing my wiring issues. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Call them. I think they can tell you about any possible swap.</TD></TR></TABLE>I concur. If your on a budget and want just as much quality call placeracing first. I have a place racing driverside motor mount and it is def quality and will hold up through anything.

 

i guess hapsort it is for now.... place racing's website is down or under construction
