I have no experience on FWD cars, or auto's. The car is my girlfriends and it's over revving when you give it a lot of gas. If you accelerate slowly it's fine, but it's too risky pulling out on the road not know if you're going to move or not. If it were a manual I'd say clutch is bad. Anybody know a way to fix this, or what to do? Bad synchros in the trans? Rebuild time? Thanks.

You could try changing the fluid first but it does sound like it's dying
