Default Thinking of swapping a b18a into 89 crx hf.....(is wiring hard?)

Right now i have a turbo zc in my hf. i was thinking of going bigger to the non vtec b18. I was wondering is it possible to pull off this swap for under 2g's. I have been looking for what i need to do the swap, and havent found any concrete info, but i believe i need the motor, tranny, ecu, linkage, mounts and axels right. Well i believe the axels on my car now will fit, since they are the 90-93 axels, but other than that i need the rest. How complex is the wiring to do this? This was really the only problem i think that i will have when doing the swap, and i was wondering if anyone knew how hard it is.
thanks guys
Brian

Wiring should be easy
adding ~90 lbs to the Front of an already light 88-89 CRX
Make sure you upgrade suspension as well as brakes.

I just put a b18a1 in my 89 CRX Si, and the wiring was the easiest part of the swap. If u get the motor off of a 92-93 integra like i did, its going to come with OBD-1 engine harness. All i did was take the engine harness, and injectors off of my Si and everything except like 2 plugs went right in. All u got to do is change the ends off of the other harness. The wiring is pretty much plug and play.

some say its hard and others say its easy....lol.... um well what if i get a newer motor, is the wiring going to be worse? i was just thinking that it would be cheaper to get a b18 and turbo it than to build my current setup. let me know what you guys think. thanks

Hit up my sig and check out the how 2 section. I've got a detailed b-series EF swap page in there. All you need is there.

Well your car is already Multi-point so that wiring is out of the way. Next step would be VTEC wiring. O yeah since your car is a 88 you will notice that the drivers side plug is rectangular, right next to the resistor box. On 90-91 it's a round style plug and has a added sensor. Since your using that harness you'll have to add some pins for the "Cold air idle valve" or get the new plug and repin it. anyways Here's one of Katmans diagrams that I use for VTEC
