b20 block help

Default b20 block help

i have a b20z in very good condition, i yust bore it to85mm and put a block guard and type r girdle.the pistins are endyn struted 12.1 oe b20 head gasked.what do you people think i will broke the engine if i dont sleved .i have been ridin a ls vtec for about 3 years and no problem .and i understan all about the a good setting means. i m usin hondata and rc 440cc injectors.

well from what i understand the service limit on a honda cylinder wall is no more than .25 or .50 oversize so if you bored yours to 85mm then your walls have to be to thin and your block won;t survive.... good luck and let me know if you want to sell the bare blcok before you bore it....

I have my b20z block bored to 85mm. I am only running 11.1. I only spin the motor to 8300. It is in a autox hatch and I have no problems with it, but the 12.1 might be a problem.
