Default cost of swaping....

what have some of you guys paid top have your swap done? i have the b16 and all the stuff to do the swap, but what am i looking at for install? any other things that i should be looking at when swaping the b16 in the 91si?

average cost of intstall is normall between $500-$800, good luck, do a search to find out more info on what u need for the swap

well......to do everything right with header,intake...etc.....i paid about 2500 and did it myself......expect to pay around 3-3500 for someone else to do it

do it yourself its cheaper and that is how you learn more, but if your prefer not to play with it then look to spend anywhere between 1000-4000 depending on the quality and where you live etc

paid 500$ to have the shop i got the motor from re-do the installation after i found a bad cylinder. they replaced it with a good motor.

i would suggest doing it yourself, its not too hard and you learn a whole lot. You have an Si so the wiring is very simple. If you do it yourself however just make sure you have a backup car or a way to get around just incase of unexpected delays.

It is understandable though if you dont have much experience or a place to do it.

I paid around $5000 for mine I got Hasport mounts, Haspotrs A/C bracket. Hasport shiftlinkage
LSD tranny
Powdercoated valvecover
Gator racing axles
Type R oil pump
Waterpump, Timing belt, Distributor cap, rotor button, plugs, wires, fuel filter
and the list goes on and on
it really just depends what all extra you want
later
