Drivers side door lock that has to be locked using the key?
My 92 accord doesn't let you lock the drivers door from the inside when the door is open, you have to lock it from the outside with the key. It's just that I am so lazy and having to lock it with the key everytime is a drag when I could just hit a switch from inside. Is this a feature that ensures you never lock your keys in the car or is my lock assembly broke?
its to ensure u dont lock ur keys in ur car
my friend had the same thing i think all 4th gen accords with power everything have that feature...
hey its good 2 have, i've locked my keys in my car like 6 times now, broken the window once lol, trust me its good to have

i was pissed when i found that out... my friend told me to do that after being soaked in the rain... kool safety feature though... but kinda sucks if you left your keys in your car... and you locked the doors already...
