Switching to ITR rear shocks...
So that means I need to get ITR rear lower control arms. I'm thinking that since I am going to need to purchase a set that I might as well see if there are any better aftermarket ones available first.
Any suggestions, or should I just get a set of factory ITR LCA's? Thanks.

Please say that you're swapping fronts and rears to the same type. The R's strength primarily lies in its amazing balance which makes it a joy to drive near its limits. Swapping rears will give you a nice tight back end and... um and a loose floppy front. And nobody likes that.

Don't knock it 'till you try it..
it may actually be a good thing, the majority of us w/suspension setups run heavier rates in rear anyway..
Im not saying it *will* be great, but a good handling car lies more on tuning than just parts...just as we can get rid of understeer, you can get rid of oversteer as well.
To answer your ?.
SRR makes Lcas that you can use, they were fairly cheap If I remember correctly. They are lighter as well, but not by a substaintial amount.
here is a pic for you. Im sure aj racing, ips etc could get them for you.

Aren't the SRR a non-ITR application only? I do believe the ones pictured above won't work with the ITR rear shocks this person is trying to use.

for some reason I remember someone using them on an EG w/ITR specific shocks..of course he is putting them on a DC, so that could be where I got it wrong..

So the front suspension is different between the GSR and ITR as well? Hrm, didn't know that. What is different?
I was planning on getting H&R Race springs with Tokico Illuminas from a guy local to me. He said they were on his ITR and that I'd need ITR LCA's to get them to work. Is there anything else I should know?

Is there a photo like that showing the GSR front?
The differences stated are obviously stiffer springs rates, different dampening shocks(or are those struts in the front?) and a swaybar that uses ball joints instead of bushings...
