Default '00 LS - any benefit from using 93 vs. 89 at the pump

so shoot me i'm too lazy to search the boards ( searching is pain since you have to use 3 owrds or more)
but since i'm stock, any reason to use higher octane gas other than emptying my pockets quicker?

not really but possibly, it might a burn a little cleaner and if you have a slight knock due to some unforseen error the higher octane might help to eliminate that, but other than that i wouldnt use it you wont see any real performance gains out of it, except more performance of your hand reaching for your wallet........
