D2R is for reflector housing and his a strip of gray on the bulb.
D2S is for projectors and has nothing on the bulb.

D2S (for projectors) on left, D2R (for reflectors) on the right.

d2s for a dc teg. I'd stay with philips or Osram (4100k-4300k is the best period). Please stay away from all those cheaply made hid capsules dont buy into that higher Kelvin BS. higher the k the less output there is.

D2S for projector headlights. Go here to buy the bulbs, but remember, Philips doesn't make a 9006 HID capsule. You have to get a 9006 ring adapter to rebase the bulb with. Notice the base of the Philips bulbs in the pictures I posted above. There's no way to make those fit in your Integra headlight housings without modifying it with the 9006 ring adapter. I think http://www.xenondepot.com might sell the adapter...

my kit adapter looks like it would fit d2s or d2r capsule(i think its stock HID kit)
my adapter is not like the reg 9006 base but its round and has a circular hole so you could fit the metal piece thats on d2s base. please forgive me for stupid *** newbie questions. i dont know **** about HIDs

i believe you have philips ballasts (technically its made by hella). i have those and you speak of the same end connectors. yes, those end connectors hook up directly to the base of oem replacement hid bulbs. however, im actually using another kit from xenon depot since i havent gotten around into rebasing one of the bulbs from the other kit.

about xenon depot selling adapter rings...i have asked steve numerous times and he said they dont sell rings. i believe him...steve is a good guy . anyways, just look into a philips 4300k hid replacement bulb like the ones pictured above.

all you have to do is make a ring out of a normal 9006 bulb by dremmeling it out and fit it onto the old one. of course its not as simple as it sounds and when i get around to doing it, ill provide a write up...but right now, im happy with my xenon kit and im just too lazy to work on the other one.
