Default anyone hear of this happenin to a teg before???

ok, i bought my GSR in july, put roughly 6K on it. about a month ago i pulled out from a stop sign on my way to school and boom! motor explodes and oil everywhere. after a month of back and forth with the warranty company they wont cover...sux to be me. but anyway, 3 people found the problem to be in the throttle housing. they said for whatever reason it decided to start suckin in coolant into the motor and hydrolocked my motor throwin a piston thru the front and the rod thru the back. has this happened to anyone else, the intake manifold just starts suckin in coolant??? i dont exactly see how this happened....maybe someone could shed some light on this for me?

its an aftermarket extended warranty, they said they wont cover it becuase the throttle housing isnt covered under the warranty, yet the intake manifold is...go figure.

Man sorry to hear about that...cant say i've heard of it happening before, there must have been a busted coolant channel in the head for Throttle body/inlet manifold to suck it in, either that or your head gasket was toast

To which cylinder did this occur? Was this cylinder #4? There's a coolant passage right next to the intake port, so the manifold gasket was leaking, it could send it into that cylinder.
