No ps, will this cause harm to the ps rack?
I was having a discussion with my father the other day. He is extremely knowledgable on the subject of cars. He told me that if I continue to drive my car without the ps belt on that it will eventually cause the rack to fail and result in no steering. Has anyone ever had this problem? I don't need to ruin my ps rack, but I also love driving without power steering and don't want to put the belt back on.
i think u should listen to him, any ways get 1 of these kits: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=563116
no, as long as the rack is looped..ie...no ps fluids.
all the Pump does is help move the fluids so less effor when turning the wheel.
i took my ps pump/belt etc..out for 2 1/2 yrs already and no problem.
i looped the outgoing/ingoing from the steering rack.
