Default coupla questions

i have a couple of newb questions. first, how much should i expect to pay for a k&n for my 98 gsr? my car doesnt have a hatch release so i always have to turn my car off and get out and use the key. im guessing that isnt normal but just making sure.

A genuine K&N drop in will be a bit pricey due to the brand. You can get some knockoff's for cheaper.

K&N ~ $40-60
Knockoff ~$20

Your hatch release SHOULD be next to the gas cap lever on the floor on the left side of the driver's footwell. It's right near the door toward the back.

If you don't have a hatch release, is your gas cap release still there? Where did it go?

You can genuine KN off ebay for alittle cheaper than that.

Were talkin about the rear trunk hatch lid right? Haha, I drove two integras for two years without knowing that.

just pull both the levers and see what pops out. don't be scared to pull levers man, your car won't fall apart. do you know how to pop the hood?

oh, and yes, they are in the same black box, the shorter one is the gas door release, and the larger one is for the hatch.

Sorry people....i know for sure the 98s only have the gas cap lever. You need to unlock the door and open it, or turn off the car and open it... Ya it sucks.

When you move that to the side, it should release the hatch if the doors are unlocked.

Yes, the little black lever inside the hatch handle is supposed to open the hatch when the doors are unlocked. Mine is broken too, but havent looked into fixing it yet, when I do, Ill post the fix, cuz mine and your problems are probably related.
