Someone should invent a gun that mounts to your bumper and have it so its fired at the push of a button. So you can take that sucker out without swerving and just run him over real quick :-P lol Glad you're okay Have a beer on the house

once i hit a deer around 35 mph.... i ,still shocked, kept driving before i realized what happened and turned around. no deer in sight. but my bumper was all fucked up.
the next night, same road. i am following a white accord and from the side... WHAM!
a deer runs into the side of the accord, bounces off, and ran away........
either way, its glad to hear you got out ok. there are a lot of deer around my area. unfortunately there are many laying on medians and side of the highways as well. its a shame...

Re: (CXHatchback)
my god! it must be some sort of super race of deer!!! lol, actually i have clipped one with my front bumper but my bumper was all iced over so it acted like a sheild and my car suffered no damage. the ice broke though, and the deer ran away.
yes we don't want another hospitolized HT member where we have to communicate through their family, that was really sad.

Re: (cre18)
next time i bet you'll just run the deer the **** over...
my friend just hit a deer with his mini van (lol, mini vans) and it fucked the car up. no sign of the deer. he was going 65mph and the weird part was in fucked up the car not only on the outside but more so on the inside... caused the dash to no longer be flush with the rest of the stuff inside... weird.

Never swerve if there is a deer in the way. Just hit it.
Sorry it happened though. Hope you get things worked out with the car.

that was a little harsh, but i agree. people need to learn not to swirve and just take it like a bish.. SPECIALLY when it is wet outside. I swirved to miss a coon a few nights ago, but it was dry and i was only going 35, and i didnt have to swirve too much. I told myself a long time ago that if a deer ran in front of me that i was just gonna take it out, so I always look out for them.
Glad you're ok bro.. sorry about the car.

glad you made it out ok, i am really surprised a honda held up so well after an accident like that (as far as youo being able to get out and not too injured).
a while back driving in to work earaly in the morning i came across an accident that had jsut happened.
a car that was originally sometehing like a 4th gen accord or something similar was mostly flattened. the driver wasa trapped inside while the fire dept was trying to cut the car open beforer she died.
She had swerved to avoid a dog on the freeway, this swerve caused a cement truck to swerve lose control and roll landing on her car....
