notice the gear is fucked up? is it replaceable?

I would say the input shaft. I would hate to see the gear on the inside!

 

Main shaft. Yes it is replaceable.

i know...i'm afraid to open it and see if it's grinded up or not. do you think it is?

 

is it just called mainshaft or mainshaft gear?

it's a b-series tranny. $232 for the mainshaft?? i guess i have to buy a new tranny. what's the chances that the gears inside are messed up too?

Is this the guy who had all that trouble taking his tranny off? The mutilated main shaft might have something to do with that issue . You'll probably be in the market for a new gearbox soon.

Oh well . At least you didn't grenade your motor.
