I went up to Lebanon Valley, NY last Wednesday and I only got three runs in because it was so packed and I am a little disappointed (I didn't hit the 13's
) but a 14.1 @100 aint so bad.
My other two runs were a 14.2 @101 and a 14.5 @100 (bad start) I figure I'll head up there this Wednesday too and get there a little earlier so that I can get more runs in and be a member of the elusive 13 second club. My MPH is so high that 13s are right THERE but thats one of the problem areas of a ff car unfortunately (that start is tough). But I am also feeling the clutch slipping as well. Here are some pics of my ride, and my dad's 78 Vette......

Damn! What kit is on your Teg? Looks SWEEEEET!
But anyways, are you still running on STOCK tires? Looks like it. I would try and get some REAL performance tires...Nitto 555R's work wonders. Just curious, what are your 60ft times? That'll probably be the key to those elusive 13's!
And if you feel your clutch slipping, definitely get that upgraded too.

you should really be running lower times than that...
what elevation is the track at?
my only other suggestion is some slicks like everyone else said

yea I really do need some slicks
and I will make that my next mod for spring. I really don't know the elevation of the track but I do know that I wasn't getting much traction out of the hole and that is where I lost the time.....

Nice!
Stick had the tongue smiley in there, so I think he wasn't being totally serious about N20. Chacun a son gout
I had a NOS kit, and never got the timeslip with a 13 on it either. It's not "that' easy, hehe. Really depends on the track, weather, and how your car is set up.
I just wanted to run street tires for my personal preference, since I can't really run wrinkle wall slicks on the street. I may try drag radials though...
One night at Epping NH, it was real cold, so the track was just slick as hell. My trap speeds were like 101-104, and I couldn't do better than low 14s... My 60's were HORRENDOUS, like 2.4 was my best. It was a bad night for everyone, since JRSC GSRs were running low 15s and my buddy with Civic VX and GSR was running mid 15s, and he's run 14.7 at the same track...
Anyway you'll get there soon. I blew burnt a valve on the spray before I ever got the 13, so now I have to try it all motor...
Take care,
FB
