The bolt is NOT reverse threaded. Get an impact wrench.

the nut comes off like an other nut.. If the wheels are off put them backa on and lower the car, get a 1/2 in ratchet or breaker bar and a 32 mm socket and a long pole and your set, use the pole for leverage

yeh get an impact wrench, I was unable to remove mine with out one, but now that it was loosened once it will come off a bit easier. if you don't have one you can either rent one or go buy one take very good care of it, take the bolt off and then return it. I was forced to do the buy and return becuase no rental place open when I needed it and the only one I found was $200.

dont waiste your money on an impact wrench.. Ive taken probably over 50 axels nuts off without an impact wrench... With a breaker bar and a pole you're good to go

Exactly, just do pull ups on the bar till it comes off. Some PB spray wouldn't be a bad idea either.

I didn't waste any money either, but a breaker bar wasn't enough. The ******* who had put it back on over tightened it and instead of tapping it in the lock spot he beat it and made it almost impossible to remove.

I bought a 625 lb. ft. impact wrench after snapping both of my craftsman 1/2" breaker bars. It came right off.

Just making sure did you tap out the pinches in the nut? There should be a part of the inside of the nut that folds down that hold the nut in place. Just wondering if you tapped that up...
