besides the fact that its cheap and off ebay... honestally whats wrong with it? anyone have experience with them... i always hear people ragging on ebay stuff, just curious why

no no, not the reason for selling, im talking about the fact that it is only 100 bucks as compared to a dc one thats a little more than 300... ive never onwed an aftermarket header so i wouldnt know... but with an intake, you can get an expensive one for close to 100bucks or spend 1/4 of that buying an elbow, clamps and a filter... know what i mean ?

Because its probably cheaply made, probably not tested as thoroughly as a DC Sports (or insert other company) header.

 

it also appears to be mig welded not tig.

wel does anyone have any experience with it? i mean will the chrome chip or anything? i can use the extra 200 for other mods, know what i mean ?

can you be a little more descriptive please... why would i need to replace it, what goes bad on it ?

 

Is that an actual DC 4-1? I had the DC 4-1 w/ 2.5" collecter on my Si and had no problems with it.

 

Don't do it!! If your looking to gain horsepower you likely won't with this imitation DC header. The DC Sports header is molded perfectly allowing all of your exhaust gases to flow freely.They test every header to guarantee you are getting the very most out of it. Therefore you pay a little more. The header off ebay probably won't offer this. The welds are poorly done, therefore actually making it difficult for the gases to easily flow. Therefore robbing you of horsepower, and defeating the purpose of actually putting one on. Hope that helps a little.....
