considering you live in the northeast. i would suggest a good all-season that is very sporty. i would go with the michelin pilot sport or bfgoodrich g-force t/a kdw. also, dunlops are an excellent choice. i have bfg touring t/a's on my integra(14in alloys) and i just drove through a terrible snow storm the other day. tires gripped very well. alot of people off the road because they were caught by suprise with this storm. i have the pilot sports on the 190D with 17's and those are excellent tires in the canyons and in the wet. i don't drive the car much in snow. not worth getting salt and grime all over it.

seeing that many of the people who answer are from places where there is no snow/rain. and seeing that your place is maryland.
are you going to use these in winter or do you have a set of winter tires? many people that i've met around here are very unhappy with yokohamas, falkens, etc.

Exactly what I was thinking. I don't know if anyone read his request or not, but hes basically looking for a regular street tire. Nothing high performance.
I don't really know what to suggest really. I know more about performance tires than anything.
I would say search the internet. I can't remember, but I'm pretty sure one of the sites has a place where you can read customer reviews of the tires.
Good luck.

Yokohama AVS ES-100 would suit you well.
I use Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3, but in 195/50-15. I've been very pleased with them in both dry and wet weather.

Undoubtedly the best tire in the price range.
Undoubtedly the best tire in the price range.
depending on your money situation i guess-
if you want only one tire for decent snow/wet traction and decent dry traction the azenis and evs100 are a great value. The dunlops in my experience out hnadle both of those 2 in wet and dry (dunlop sp5000)
if you want to spend a little more I would get a set of strictly winter tires --like blizzak etc and then get a good summer peformance tire like potenzas so-3's
