Default kinda OT but not - new turbo magazine

I was checking it out and they dyno a bunch of SCs and turbos - Vortech SC for GSR dyno'd 200whp (at 7psi), civic SI Vortech SC dyno'd 275 whp (at 8psi) WTF - that kinda sucks (i don't know much about boost) but I thought the GSR would have about the same if not more hp. There is also a sweet JDM 4 door GSR w/JDM ITR interior and B20/ITR head running boost - looks sweet but too many stickers BTW see my classified - I think I'm out of the scene for now - I might keep the mugen twin loop on my car though -

Maybe the one on the GSR didn't have the "aftercooler"?

I like the s2000 w/ the b20 a few issues ago. I guess they don`t believe in proof reading huh? I bet Vortech is pissed since 99% of the ricers are going to believe what they read!

yeah i was all over this like WTF??? 200whp for $3500??? also, if you look very closely at the plot it makes the stock hp look way way low (i don't remember 130? 135? 125?). "200.0" is probably a dummy number they forgot to go back and change.

another typo:
Road & Track lists the RSX Type-S CR at 9.8:1

I drove Vortech`s black SI before it was stolen and it was pretty damn quick. I`m sure the gsr kit makes good power.

fyi, the Vortech car was bone stock and it was the non-aftercooled base kit at 7lbs. It made about 60 ponies to the wheels which really aint that bad in my opinion considering it was stock header & exhuast.

Hey guys, the GSR unit DID NOT have the aftercooler and the SI makes 272 WHP at 10PSI.

Yea, I checked it out today also. The GSR was "BONE" stock and had no aftercooler. That makes a BIG difference.

I also noticed the stock numbers were a bit on the low side.
