Default ITR flywheel in LS?

will an ITR flywheel fit in the LS? I heard it was 14lbs, 4lbs. lighter than the LS. I was told that lightweight(7-9lb.) flywheels make you slow off the line. because of inertia? My body shop guy put it to me like this... Imagine you could put a 200lb flywheel on your car(right...) now revving the engine would get it to spin now keep revving it and it will spin w/ so much momentum it will propel it's self w/o much help. He said inertia will win over less rotational mass everytime. But why? So I was thinking of going lighter but not too light this way I have some inertia but can build up speed w/ less rotational mass. Any comments? THNX L8R
