Default Car has some serious sputtering issues, possibly nitrous related...

I took my baby to the track friday and ran, but my power came undone when i spun in first.. I found my ghettorigged power wire to be funny.. Needless to say i neevr sprayed while running it... Then, I got everythign straight and shot on my way out... It was maybe 1 sec most in 3rd gear going 60mph just to see if it would work.. Now, its a Zex 65 shot kit with timing retarded 2 degrees and zex plugs.. Simple as that.. Yea, i got a few more goodies, but they are irrelevant..

Heres my problem.. It ran fine friday nigth going home.. Nothing unusual.. I got new gas Saturday night and boom.. My problems started.. So, I think the problem is unrelated to spraying, but I am not going to rule anything out...

The problem is my car started bogging bad like it woudl just jump and then keep going.. A serious sputter.. Then like 2 minutes later after that once and me pulling over to check and nothing, it died on me... It cranks back up, sometimes it takes like 30 seconds.. Now, I have no acceleration ability and when I get a sputter it spits red coals and flames out the exhaust... Now, it cut off on me so many times I cant count.. Several times it would die and go click click click and rpms would return to 800 or so.. It was weird.. Now, I'm not sure exactly whats wrong.. Tomorrow I am going to pull the plugs, run a compression test, and maybe pull the valve cover too.. Anyone got any ideas ahead of time? Im thinking it could be bad gas to clogged fuel filter to fuel pump to damn almost anything...! Or, it could be a burned valve or sumtin.. It smoked a lil gettin on it... The only time I tried cause i got mad..

When in the hell did you throw a bottle on your lude?!?!

Hmmm........maybe a bent valve?

Have you pulled the plugs to check their color? Maybe you're running extremely rich or lean?

I got a compression gauge if ya wanna borrow it from me; I've been checkin the school's lot for your car lately but I haven't seen ya in a while!

Ive got a compression tester.. No, I havnt pulled anything yet... Tomorrow hopefully.. Nitrous has been hooked up for about a week.. And my cars been at home cause I have had the worst fuckign luck.. Hood came up and destroyed hood, windshield, fenders, wipers, roof... Then, tires popped this morning.. front left, and spare... Then I had the fire at NOPI.. so, my cars gonna be beat... Insurance company hasnt come out yet, so the tire popping nwo is good considering they r related.. bent the rim when i hit the curb with the hood ****..

Now, O2 sensor would throw a code right?
And I am afraid its a bent valve, but there was no crazy driving right before it started acting up.. It was more than 100 miles before hand..

OK, newest news is I pulled the plugs.. All were already loose! They have less than 150 miles on them and they are coated black! Really rich I guess... Next, compression test liked me.. everything was normal! perfect across the board.. Now, I am at square one and back to wondering if it fuel related, or what? Maybe the plugs loose was a sign? They werent falling out, but none were locked into place and had to break free... which i know i locked them in nicely.....

Check your cap, rotor, and also your map sensor.... Do you have an ignition system on your car?

Also make sure your cat is not collapsed. (the honeycones inside can deteriorate and block the air passage.

Alright, after a day of toying with my car I finally got it to throw a code.. YA.. Ive been trying for an hour or so to get it to throw it again, but no go.. Finally threw a map sensor code, electrical issue.. code 3.. Maybe this is all it is? Symptons: Car idles fine, but rich.. Often cuts out while idling for no reason...PLugs turn black rapidly form running so rich.. Car runs fine till about 3k rpms where it stutters and bogs a lil.. Dies b4 4k rpm... Wont alway crank back up right off, but hasnt failed to yet, ie it may take 2 minutes of running the starter.... Car spazzes out when it dies throwing anywhere from 1-3 vaccuum hoses free from the intake manifold and shooting a major blow back kinda thing...

thats what a bad map does.....or a vtec controller hooked up wrong ,or wires have come undone....it will also throw a map code if something has come undone on your vafc

to do this, it has to have some kind of postive pressure in the itm, which would also throw the map code.

maybe a serious backfire. have you changed your t-belt lately? or maybe it skipped a tooth? or strecthed.

have you messed w/plug wires reacently. i had a back fire/wouldnt run prob once...the pilu wires were on wrong, causeing it to fire at the wrong time

Like I was saying, check your cap, rotor, map sensor, and even your cat.
