hey guys.... just looking for some outside opinions/insight...

im thinking about trading my gsr for and ls

the only reason so far would be to save $$ on insurance and monthly payments, so that i can boost earlier!!

opinions please....!!

I guess it works if you want to save money.


GSR will be faster though.

I thought you were looking for someone to trade on here. In that case it would be...

I was thinking about the same thing, but i've decided to keep my gizzer to boost...

 

yeah if i already had the gsr i would stick it out and boost later..

 

if youre having financial difficulties, why even consider boosting until you can afford paying the insurance.

i will trade you my boosted LS w/ everything all gauges, ect..for your gsr...i pay 800 $ every 6 months for insurance... It only has 12k on the motor ..what do ya say ??? how much do you owe??

So now u ARE DOING THE EXACT OPPOSITE OF I'M DEBATING ABOUT....

 

If money is a factor, then maybe boost isnt for you. Its liek another girlfriendx10, unexpected cost will hurt the pocketbook.

My .02 I would keep the gsr, and boost it when your ready. Dont get ancy and make bad decisions, just be patient and start with a better platform.

 

lol.. ya.. i should've worded that differently...

i was looking to trade-in my GS-R for an LS... in turn, insurance and payments should be less.
its not that i cant make bills... i just want to boost sooner!!!!!!!!!!!!!

does anyone know for sure how much ins. differs between GS-R to GS/LS??

although you guys have made me see the light!...
just stick it out N/A in the GS-R for now...
and when she's paid off and ins. drops....
boost like a ****

soooo......i pay 800$ every 6 months and thats because i live up here you would end up paying half of that ..

 

Just boost the GSR.

 

i might be willing to just trade you my ls engine + cash for your gsr engine, depending on labor and shipping of course. it would be basically like you having a nicer gs or se (depending on year) instead of an ls or rs. you could also call it an rs/ls/gs for your insurance too. would you rather completely ditch all of the luxuries of the gsr just for an ls? i know i wouldnt. btw, where do you live? i dont need a tranny or ecu (less shipping for both of us ), so you could sell those on here or ebay for even some more pocket change. my engine was said to be in excellent shape, especially for its mileage when i had its 90k mileage check done. if you need a voucher for me, i got one; just look for amber-bling; bought a nice jrsc from him. ill help search for any turbo parts you need also, free of charge. sound good? take as much time to think it over as you want. in the long run, it looks like your going to save some cash and also have a faster car. personally, i got my ls for $1300 less than what gsrs of the same quality and mileage are going for around here; you can piece together a really nice turbo kit for $1300. hope to hear from you soon
