crower rod bolts reusable?
BUMP, I would like to know this as well. Once the rods have been raced on, pulled out, and installed in a new motor, can the same bolts be re-used, or are new ARP's necessary?
this is what i have
"4340 Steel Billet Connecting Rods"
first time in motor not yet been reuse. so are they reusable? if not when getting new arp rod bolts, what do they mean when they say got to have the end bolts resize?

I hope so! The motor I am running has Crower rods (and bolts) that I have reused 3 or 4 times.

Generally the Crower rod bolts can be reused if they were torqued properly the first time they were used. As long as there is no bolt stretch you should have no problem reusing them because they are a bigger diameter bolt then say the eagles. If you have eagles then you will need to replace the bolts. On the eagles the bolt diameter is smaller and tends to stretch very easily. You will not need to use any adhesive on the bolts, just use the ARP moly lube and you will be ok.
