my girls 97 integra ls auto tranny is shot.. i have a 1st gen 89 jdm b16a auto tranny laying around.. will it work?? so far the wire harness are diffrent and also, is the tranny mounts the same?? thanks need input on this asap!

Your 97 has a hydro tranny and the b16 has a cable tranny, I think you might need a Hydro to Cable tranny conversion kit, but anyone else that can shed some light please do, I think but am not a 100 percent positive on it.

i'm not talking about manuel trannys!! all i wanna do is do an auto to auto tranny swap just with diffrent years.. has anybody done this or know if this is possible???

 

i dont think it'll wrk because the 1g integras have a d16 (zc) and the 3g teg has the b18b

 

oh god, he said JDM b16a auto tranny, not a usdm 1g tegs! anyways, yes it will work.
