Default FS: B18c1 engine NO SERIAL #...

I had posted about this incident a couple of months ago. First, it wasn't my brother it was me and second, the reason why I bought the car was to use it as a drag car only...
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=607728

Well I took the motor out to start the building process and had the hatch seating at my brothers', but certain personal problems have arised and I need the money.. So I sold the hatch(with my CRX's d15) and now I'm selling the rest of the stuff that I have. The motor is an OBD1, with a P72 ecu.

Price: $1200 FIRM! + shipping...NO TRANNY

Here's the pics:

Well as you can see the serial numbers are gone... so I won't be able to use it on the streets. Unless I want to take a big risk and get caught by the cops and have the car impounded...

I know for a fact I can take the motor to a machine shop and they'll be able to do the #'s again(from any other motor) and then I could sell it for more. But I need the money now so I'm getting rid of it... Plus that idea doesn't seem right!!!

Just to let everyone know; I didn't steal a car to get it. It came with the hatch I bought. So please no name calling of any sort...

WTF were you doing buying a car with a motor like this!????!??!?!? BAD. very bad. dont you know the deal? you still bought stolen parts unless you have reciepts for everything. thats so fucked up. totally shitty. some dude had his car snaked and here you are with the motor. NICE.

on a sketchy note, you'd be better off removing all the parts and selling everything but the block casting.

Okay man I know... The guy gave me some bullshit receipt from Canada for the motor and when I first when to see the car the serial # WAS THERE...
Two days later I go get the car take it home and parked it till I got the temp tags.

Never did I bother to check the motor. Two days after I got the car I got the temps and took the car to get it wash.. there I found out about the #'s while cleaning the engine bay.

Passed by the guys house... he's GONE to PR... And I'm definitely not gonna go to the cops so I'll lose my money and the car... SORRY!

Like I said I could had gotten new #'s and sold the motor that way on ebay, but NO, I'm man enough to say what's wrong with the thing and take the punishment for it...

he is still subject to being charged with recieving stolen goods, regardless of reciept or not.... ignorance of the law is no excuse when it comes to felony charges, especially like this example. where common sense tells you something aint right..

i wouldnt have even put this post together.. because you never know who's a cop, and you just incriminated yourself, along with pictures to show proof... i would have this post deleted quickly.....

good luck bro....

Defacing an engine's serial # is a Federal Offense!
No serial # no post!
