Default Brake Rotors, lightend?

I was searching today to see if there is any companys out there that offer a lighter then stock brake rotor, I am trying to make as little rotational mass on my car as possible.

The reduction in rotational mass is really not going to be worth the reduction in thermal storage capacity of the rotor.

At the expense of a decreased heat sink, smaller swept area, durability and long gevity?

Stoptech can sell you a lightweight two-piece rotor.

Fast brakes had two piece setups as well, they reduced total weight of the rotor but the major reduction is by making the hat (center 6" or so) out of aluminum, and that does not have a huge effect on rotational inertia... especially for the cost, major $$$$$

Carbon... something like $2000 each and they don't weigh anything...

Lightened rotors alongside sufficient cooling (brake ducts) would be the best combination.

ATS makes a set of carbon rotors for the ITR and Skyline... just for the front rotors and pads, you'll need $4500 - $5300.
