Default LS/VTEC stuff

Alright here we are.

I've got my block overbored .25 and got ctr pistons .25 overbore and have eagle LS rods. Do I need to have anything special done to get the ctr pistons connected to the rods?

Anther thing about Fuel. Here is what I got a stock B16 fuel system, I was looking at some DSM Talon 450cc injectors. Some people said it would be too much for an all motor LS/VTEC system. I should be running 12.4:1 or 12.1:1 still studing. I've got a B16 head and a b18a block. Any suggestions how I do the fuel system. Here is what I think so far

DSM 450cc injectors I can get for $40 <from a friend>
AEBS Fuel Rail
aftermarket fuel pump if needed
Arospeed Regulator and gauge <already ordered>

Need some info

you'll be fine w/ the stock injectors, stock fuel pump, and stock fuel rail, an fpr wouldn't be a bad idea though

So you think the 450cc injector thing is a bad idea? What about Integra Type R injectors?

Some people told me 450cc injectors in my ls/vtec would burn rings, they say that because I'll be running rich, right? would a Fpr fix that? I don't know about stock injectors on 12.4:1

OEM piston wrist pin doesn't fit eagle rod without mod.

If you use 450 injector you need some fuel control. ie, Hondata, AEM EMS, e-man...etc.

I have RC 440 on my fully build b20..i have lean it out to -50% on VAFC at idle and still getting 12.8-13.3 AFR.
Fuel pressure is set to 40psi w/o vac.

aftermarket rods use floating wrist pins. stock rods have the pins pressed in. The ctr pistons will have to be converted to floating wrist pins

the machine shop will do it no worries. Price depends on the machine shop but I say no more than 100 buxs for all four pistons

You cant run the 450s with some form of fuel control. Waaaaaay to rich.
I have tried the DSM 450's with a VAFC. I spent about an hour on the dyno. Although some guys have done it. It didnt work out well for me. I think that the correction factors were too big.
Went back to stock with a higher fuel pressure and was much better off. I have a ls/vtec ctr pistons and ctr cams.

I have a b20/vtec with 12.0:1 of comp. At the beginnig I was running 450 dsm injectors but it was a way to rich.. i try to tune with my fpr... I have video on dyno and you can easily see the black smoke coming of my exhaust.. I was runing like 18 psi on the FPR... right now i'm running Prelude injector.. and its fine..

I will say, get the DSM injector only if you have a STANDALONE to adjuste your duty cycle...

If not

Try to find Prelude injector it will be fine and you will be able to tune it a little bit..

If you want to now the right injector you need.. try this link and you will see what you need... i think a b20/vtec it's 310cc with a good pressure(40psi)

They are all 240 cc not 270cc
