Anyone who has ever dealt with tail + spoiler break lights on a 94+ tag, PLEASE HELP!
Ok, here’s the story. I had some body work done on my tag, they had to take off the trunk door witch has an oem spoiler with a built in break light, witch means they had to disconnect the wiring for the spoiler break light that goes through the roof. Got the car, left the shop, only to get pulled over for both of my break lights not working
, the only one that does work is the spoiler one. I pulled the fuse looks fine. Any suggestions on what to check or how to diagnose the problem would be greatly appreciated. Needless to say that the body shop guy claim absolutely no responsibility.

I would demand for those **** to make your tail lights work...its all about customer satisfaction, and they were the last ones to touch the car.... I would keep on their asses about this..unless some one knows an easier solution.......oh, why dont you pop off the rear plastic panel, and check to see if the plugs are still plugged into the tail light harness...also, make sure that some ricer didnt jack your bulbs too! LOL
I owuld suggest taking all the panels off and looking at all the wires in the harness usually when they work on the back of your car they take the panels off and when they put them back on they pinch the wires some times so take a look there. It's a start or make the body shop do it.
Thanks for the bulbs idea, didnÂ’t think about that. I cheked the light terminal behind the plastic thingy seems to be in order. The problem with hounding them is that I work ridiculous hours, get in before they open and leave after they close, first pull over was a warning the second one will be a ticked for sure, so every day I drive like that I run the risk of slipping on bacon.
