rear dics brake coversion troble-need help
I have a 93 civic hb,and I decided to put rear brakes from an acura on th rear. The swap went fine .Bleeded the brakes got the air out, pedal felt good.Took the car for a drive and there is no brakes.Someone told me that I should of replaced the brake booster with the acura one,is this true.If it is any help I have the front brakes from the acura on the car to.please any help would be great.
Replacing the brake booster, proportioning valve are an option but not necessary...some things wrong if you lost your brakes. btw, you might want to post on the EG forum.
i did the same, and have the same ff/rr brake setup as yours... siR conversion. i didn'tn replace it with a bigger one, just bought a new one, and the brakes have been fine for more than 2 years now.
maybe is a good time to go and buy a new one!!!!!!!
good luck!
BTW, which e-brake cable did u use??
