Ok for now my car is a daily driver and I plan on running anywhere from 350-400 whp. But I might be running race gas and turning up the boost at the track and shooting for 500-550 whp. Now my question is should i get the DSS stage 3's or the stage 5's. The stage 5's are about $500 more but would I want to just go for them instead of "wasting money on the stage 3's": or will the stage 3 axles be plenty for what my power goals are?

I would say that the stage 3's would be fine for your daily driver scenario, but Im not so sure about handling that much power on slicks at the track....
I probly spring for the 5's...

 

I would build the driveline overkill. IMO
dss stage 5 for your setup
