Default Fuel Pressure On A Gsr

I just put in a new B&M fuel pressure regulator and gauge last night. My stock pressure was at 40-41 at idle. While it was at this for a long time my car would run extremly rich from idle to 8k. What should i lower the fuel pressure to so my car doesnt run as rich but yet is a safe mix to keep it at. Im trying to get it to be stoich as much as possilbe. My current setup is in my signature.

Try 38psi. The trick is to look at your plugs.
A VAFC would help to lean things out, the factory ecu's run extra rich to ensure the engine is safe in all conditions and for bad gas.

Im gonna be getting a Vafc soon but i just went the cheaper way for now. I would rather waste that extra 300 for the vafc on a header first. I just tried 38, still very rich. Im gonna check my plugs, what should i look for??
