I have a 97 gsr sedan with intake, header, and exhaust. I have about 74,000 miles on it. I've just had new NGK plugs put in. When I go into Vtec, the car seems to pull slower than beforce. Any input on what I can do ? How do I make the car pull like before? Please advise, thanks.

 

put back the old plugs? maybe you didnt gap them right? or they arent gapped right...

 

Yes, gapped at .052.

 

check you oil....

 

Did you mess with the timing? (maybe when you were checking cap and rotor?)
Crack in ignition wire/distrib cap? Wires not in all the way? Bad plug(s)?

 

Thanks for the replies. I didn't mess with the timing or anything like that. I think I need to change the MSD distributor cap. Haven't changed it for a long time.
