I've run with the Audi club a few times at MidOhio and Beaverun and they were fantastic!! Good safe group with many great instructors. I would love to try VIR, but that is a 9 hour drive through possible snow... Sometime....

Were you driving a yellow ITR at BeaveRun? Had a partner that drove another yellow ITR?

I was driving a VW GTI 337. I think I was the only GTI at that event. Wasn't there someone named Reynolds sitting with you guys?
BTW, great driving. We were watching you two 'beating up' on the Porsches and 350Zs and other 'sports cars'.

Yes, Reynolds was paddocked next to us. Pretty nice guy, too bad he was having tranny issues.
That was a lot of quick cars in our group. The Carrera 4S was awesome. He had power down the straights and was good through the corners. Great guy too!!

.RJ, You're welcome to use my 89 CRX Si. It's stock though. It might have some new koni yellows on by then. It's got some 205 Yoko ES100's on 15inchers too. Not much but it's better than nothing.

). You guys were fast.
GenXGuy, get off this board!!! You're everywhere! Are you stalking me?

Hey man, it's your fault. You said this forum was pretty informative, I'm all for feeding my brain.
Besides, I used to drive an Integra and a Civic so I'm not a total outsider.
What other forums are you registered in?

Id like to go with the porsche and run with some Hondas. $40 to sign up... how much is this actual event? Do they7 need spots to be fileld that badly. i know that PCA in my region at least never has open spots for anyhting but porsches and usually you have to sign up months before the HPDE event.

registrations are light so far, and the organizer asked me to promote the event.
it has a couple things working against it: it is in december, so a lot of people have put up their cars for the winter already; and it was snowed out last year so some people may be assuming that is going to happen again this year.
audi club is new to the drivers school world which has a couple of implications: not as many of their members want to do DE events as some other clubs (pca & bmw cca, for example, always sell out, often within the host chapter alone) and they dont have any history with the tracks, so they get crummy dates, like december. PCA has had the same weekends reserved at some tracks for decades.
i've done several events with these guys and i can tell you it will be well organized and safe. i can't guarentee anything about the weather

Ok, let me get this straight.
If we sign up by Nov. 16th the cost is $275+$40 for two days of full course VIR?
What is the average on-track time for an ACNA event?
It looks like almost like a CarGuys setup. The price looks compairable to a NASA event. But of course your lucky to get 2hrs of track time with NASA (I LOVE CarGuys! 4hrs baby!).
Full-Course VIR!! And "registrations are light" ?!?
