Default Any Ideas? Noise Issues.

I just bought an EG Hatch and I have been hearing rocks/pebbles pinging the inside of the wheel well. I took a look today and noticed that there is no black plastic protecting the inside of the well, so all the aluminum is exposed causing very loud, annoying pings everytime I drive over small rocks.

Is there anywhere I can buy the innerplastic piece for the well?
Does anyone have any suggestions as to a different, more DIY solution?

Also, road noise is pretty excessive. Has anyone found ways to deaden the noise a bit?
Will audio Damping material help me out the best? If so, are there any specific brands?
Anyone have any other suggestions?

Yes you can buy that black part from honda.

Also you are driving a civic, you are going to hear alot of road noise. They do have a few products out there, but if you plan on swapping the engine and making modifications to the car then buying that **** is pointless.

Dynamat your wheelwells? Mine does that too, I don't know why there wasn't a lining on it.

looks like the bomper was taken off, so it looks like it was never put back on.

Where is the best place to buy a honda part like that?
Is there somewhere cheaper than the local honda dealership?

A cheaper alternative would be a lynex coating or something similar. They do sell at the autoparts store what they call Under Carriage Coating. It sells for about $6.95 a can. My truck was extremely loud in the cabin without any floor carpeting or sound deadening material, until i had sprayed the floor board with it and added some carpet. It would not only help deaden the sound, but help protect the body from any rust. Only drawback is it takes a couple days to set up.

I like the sound of the lynex idea. Is it mostly self-explanitory, or is there anything I should know prior to spraying? Are there any precautions I should take or is there any special prepping involved? Do you have pictures of how it was done, or know where I can find any?
Thanks

the parts you need are called Inner Fender Liners from Honda. they are quite expensive and flimsy and crappy. If you have big wheels they will rub them out.
