Will a Fram PH7317 fit a 94-01 Integra????
I know Honda has gone to a smaller oil filter on all their cars for more oil pressure.
I am just using the Fram PH7317 as reference since it's the smaller aftermarket filter for new Hondas and Acuras. So will this filter fit a 94-01 Integra which used the larger filter, PH3539A.

No!! please dont use any type of Fram products. At least try something else like Mobil 1 oil filters. And for your question, it sounds like it should fit, but I dont know for sure.

Been using Fram air and oil filters for 7+ years. Not only have I had no problems, but engine wear is minimal...Use Fram in my race car as well. and on my motorcycle...and my gf's car...and my friends use fram...take all the scientific studies and apply them to your driving. Then draw conclusions. Who was that research funded by?
if the gasket diameter and the threading match up you should be good to go. However smaller filter = less filtering capacity. 3593A is small already, why go any smaller?
BTW... Fram make the Honda Canada oilf filters, they will probably make the Honda USA filters soon as well. All will share the same internals.

WTF, what happen to this thread?
I'm not talking about USING FRAM FILTERS. I was just using them as REFERENCE as Honda has gone to a smaller filter on all their cars...

why use a fram filter when there is a risk(albeit a small one), and shoot the messengers for saying theyve heard bad things about them. i'd rather be safe then having a freak accident happen to me, even if there is a small chance. if everyone stops being so stubborn, we could try boycotting companies that make lower than average quality products, but noooo since you guys haven't had any problems, they are fine by your standards, and will continue using the products, even though you know the risks.
