Universal Cat and a o2 bung question?
hi. just wondering if i can just drill a hole anywhere on the cat and just weld the o2 bung and screw the sensor. OR is there a specific spot on the cat where i must drill and weld the o2 bung for the sensor. this is goin on a 2000 civic Si. thanks...

Yes, i wouldnt do it on the cat though. I had a little extra piping to my header before the cat and just had it welded there. But i think in the cat is ok too as long as it doesnt leak.

so just drill a hole through the exhaust manifold pipe and weld the o2 bung. will the sensor throw codes if it's not in the right spot. let me know. thanks...

this is where my 02 sensor is on my carsound cat - notice it's after the cat, in the piping before the flange.
sent you an im too, lil joe.
just make sure the o2 bung is after the cat...since you're obd2 you should have an o2 sensor at the end of the header and after the cat. i got a new carsound on ebay with the o2 bung for $45 shipped.
