Tire size on ITR with 16X7's
What's the best tire size for this street car??? I'm looking for wheels and tires. Something like the 5Zigen Pro N1 in bronze. HIt me up if you've got something used for sale, but send pics too.

The hands down favourite is 215-45-16. You can get Falken Azenis in that size.
16" tyres are all substantially more expensive than 15" tyres. If you're tracking or autocrossing your car, you might want to think about sticking with 15" wheels.

This is what I'm running also. I tried the Azenis, but I found them overkill for the street.

205 45 16 Goodyear eagle F1 gs d3. similar to stock re010, quieter, bit softer, never squeal, turn is more dull, but i think ultimate grip is higher, or that could be due to the new Zeals.
Check my avatar. The car has started as a 99 GSR theft recovery. Just a rolling chassis with not much left. I bought a JDM ITR clip and it's on the way to me from Montreal. The car will be half USDM, half JDM. I'm clipping my USDM GSR with a 98 JDM ITR front clip. THe only thing USDM will be the doors (which I'm hoping that the RHD panels, switches, and wiring will work), and the rear clip.
im doing the same thing kinda, i gotta integra sheel and i bought a front clip from jdm inc, are u planning on doing RHD, like weld the whole front clip onto yours? thats alot of work, i just putting the motor in and front end, plus i dont think rhd is legal in ny, from what ive heard.
I'm going all the way. I just got the email that JDM Inc is sending the clip out on Monday. I had a lot of trouble with Paypal. They limited my account when I tried to send the money. I had to fax in bank statements, driver's license, do a phone confirmation, and I opted to cuss out three people but it got me no where. Any way, my account is back and the clip is coming soon.
If you are thinking about swapping the whole clip...that's not a good idea. Just swap the radiator support and all the body panels. Swapping firewalls and all that junk is really way more work than it is worth.
Went from 215/45 RE010's to 215/45 Azines to 205/45 parada2's, and the 215's have a better turn in without a doubt. I 2 lapping days on the RE010's, and i think 5 on the azines, and the paradas are my new street tire...

I think that your turn in with the Parada's is not as good not only due to the width of the tire, but also because Parada's really suck when performance driving. I learned that the hard way. I bought used rims that came with Parada's and for the money I think they could possibly be one of the worst performing tires I have ever driven on.

The paradas were my only option at the time. I blew out one of my azines, and the rest were at about 20% tread, plus I just had my race tires mounted on my millenia wheels, and since they were the only tire I could get at the time, thats what I was forced into getting. If I could chooose, I'd go back to RE010's for street. Azines aren't practical in the Seattle area because of the rain.

speedo will be off.. it'll show a lil faster than actual speed.

I fit 225/40-ZR16's on my 16x7 rims (50 mm offset)
Tires are Pirelli P7000Z.
Not many tires are available in this size - easiest size to find is 215/45 or 225/45 (too wide in most applications)
