Default after market valve train

anyone running after market valve train in there d16a6 head? just wondering, i have a pg7 ecu and ive ran my car up to about 6800 and it just keeps pulling, so i was wondering what the cheapest/most functional valve train i could get for my head to rev to 7200, (that's when the ecu redlines) id love to redline it but my valve train can't handle it.

thanks

If the head/valvetrain couldn't take it, honda would have set the rev limit lower.

I think the PM6 ECM is set at 7200 (mine would would hit 7256). The D16A6 came with a PM6 ECM in most cars.

pm6 has a 7200rpm fuel cut, pg7 has 7600rpm fuel cut, the highest of any OBD0 cars stock, if your tach says 7200rpm when you hit fuel cut it's because stock tachs are accurate to about 4000rpm then they are pointless

it should be okay to take the d16a6 to 7000-7200 rpms when racing. I do it when its needed depending on what i'm racing or if i'm really trying to beat my times and not practice on just my launches. it can take it but i would say not to do it all the time, only when you feel its needed. hih

the pm6 goes to 7200, man that's awesome, i was told the motor was supposed to redline at 6200, i need a pm6, i don't want my pg7 anymore, it runs to rich and i got a turbo on the way, so i don't want it running rich plus deal with a fmu making it run even richer. if thats a word
