anybody have a dyno graph of the mugen twin loop cat back compared with the stock type r exhaust? i've been offered a used one and want to know what kind of power gains i'll be getting. maybe one or two hp?

 

Not enough for you to feel anything. But it is a high quality exhaust. Nothing blings more than Mugen. It is however more restrictive than other exhausts. But that is the reason it's quiet also, so you have to choose what you want. Power or quiet.

yeah i know its the blingiest exhaust out there, but i need more justification to buy it. im sure someone out there has done a dyno of the twin loop, if they cant post the actual graph, maybe they can just state what kind of hp and torque they picked up

 

The only reasons I would get a Mugen:
1) For the name
2) High quality made in Japan
3) quiet for the streets

 

If you want raw HP then go for something like RM-01 or SMSP instead. I have the twinloop and love it for daily driving, the sound is one of the best ive heard of any exhaust.

 

i know the twin loop isnt the way to go when you want all out power, just want to know if its better thatn the stock exhaust

 

Yea, I too would like to see some actual dynos of the TL..
