My friend has a '93 Del Sol Si stock. He moved down to AZ from NJ for school and his check engine light just came on down there. He took it in and they say he needs a new distributor. He just got a Brand New one less then a year ago.

They are telling him it's gone again. Does anyone know why or are have they had a problem w/ their Honda going through distributors like this. He doesn't drive it hard at all and doesn't even drive it alot seeing he's on campus and doesn't need it.

Also does anyone know where the relay to check the engine code is on the del sol. I know knew my GSR well and I'm sure I could take care of this myself but he's over 2000 miles away so I can't get my hands on it.

Also how much would it cost for a remanufactured distributor for his car and how hard is it to do the swap himself if need be. The shop wants $500 for it that he doesn't have.
