Well, the most important stat you forgot to list. What is your 60 foot? That is where you will make or break the run. You should be running 2.2 60 foots. The R/T doesn't affect your 1/4 mile time, but try to get in the 500s.

don't worry about your rt for now. Sit there for a few seconds if you have to. Just get a good launch so you get a good 60ft. time.

We cant help you unless you list:
1) What car?
2) Which model Car?
3) What Motor?

Did you lower tire pressure?
What did you launch at?

Don't forget to tell us the color and be sure to link hot, naked pics of your girlfriend too. It doesn't help, but it makes it a lot more likely that anyone will give a **** .

Post up your whole timeslip, like the 60', 330', 1/8 @ XX, and 1/4 @ XX. It's like reading a book, it's easier to understand if you read the whole thing rather than just one chapter. I will say that 99-00 Si's like to be launched high with the clutch feathered to control wheelspin. . . yes, you will go through clutches faster this way

Your 60' is horrible, read up on good launching techniques and you should be able to shave about .3 off. It also looks like your shifting's a bit slow (no offense). Your trap at the 1/8th is decent, but you should be trapping around 87mph in the 1/4. I think you just need more practice, this was your first time after all. Practice your launches, you should be able to launch over 5000 rpm while feathering the clutch and get very little wheelspin. Oh, almost forgot, Si's like to be shifted near the fuel cut.

Those times=horrible.
Lower tire pressure to like 15-17 lbs
Lauch at like 4500-5000 rpms and you should be good

for an Si you should be in mid 15s, but I understand it is your first time @ the track... i could only pull off 16.7 out of my ex with aem short ram/greddy evo/short shifter... and just like you my 60fts are 2.5XX ... ever since i've been practicing my launch..

In order to get a good launch u don't want to drop the clutch and hammer it. all u will do is spin the tires it's hard to explain but if launch around 2500 to 3000 feather the clutch and gradually get on the gas. with some practice like that u should be able to pull hard. The only thing i can say about rt is launch on the third yellow light. I fur running street tires only drop the pressure to about 25lbs, if u take out to much pressure u will slow down ur trap speeds. Practice all that and u should be on ur way to become a damn good dragracer.
