If U do get a set let me know how they do. I drag my car & don't have an auto-xx track anywhere near. Not sure what kind of bars are out there. I only know of the DTR brand. DTRfab.com
I have z10's on my car they work great for all racing .
they help for wheel hop mainly. tighten up the front susp.
PS. good luck on sponsorships, not as easy as you think

i swear some of u guys are awsome with the technical advice as it should be and some of you need to keep ur comments to urself...my second question is; are the traction bars universal in the aspect that they fit on all integras of that gen or is a typeR's specific just like everything else for our cars....im sure someone will flame this some more but seriously just lookin for info
p.s. my sponsor is not automotive related....just wants his companies name out

Yes he does. I found like 10 threads in this forum alone and chitloads more in other forums on this site.
It's funny, he would have likely gotten answers without all the bs if he wouldn't have shown us his ignorance in the subject line.

i got Z10's on my car, had them for over a year, i like them, eliminated my wheel hop and brought my 60' time down and i think the front end feels a little tighter in the twisties. jimfab bars are also real good to alot of people use them over the Z10's due to the moutning location. compitition engineering made some also, im not sure if they still do, a friend of mine had them and they were extremely heavy compared to my Z10's.
i know Z10 and jim fab do not make a Type R specfic bar its the same bar for all the integras.

Just some info....there are titanium traction bars in the classifieds for 350. Weighs 6 lbs. I would buy them myself but I'm broke. They were custom made and fit ITR......Can you say "TITANIUM"
hopefully without starting another firefight like i did in the civic forum...
the jimfab bars are designed better than the z10 b/c the radius rods mount to the crossmember in the proper spot (in-line to the subframe lca mounting point, which creates a right triangle[90degrees] and prevents binding).
the crossmember connects between the toe hooks on the front frame rails, then the radius rods connect to the front lcas. by tensioning the radius rods, the lcas will only be able to move up and down, wheel hop happens when they move side to side which affects alignment. the z10 will not allow for complete up and down movement and this is known as binding.
by keeping the lcas in proper alignment braking, conering and steering response are improved as well, this is not just a mod for drag racing.
92-95 civic, and dc2 integra use the same bars, including itr.

If your LCA's are moving side to side enough to cause alignment problems, you have other problems on your hands. Wheel hop is a damper oscillation problem - traction bars and stiffer motor mounts are just band-aids. But in the case of the traction bars, the band-aid works.
