I have tranny problems

Should i rebuild my B-16 tranny , or should i replace it, and if i replace it, what would be my best bet?

ah right good point

1st to 2nd grinds, 2nd to 3rd grinds, and i can't downshift into 3rd

should i fix it or would it be cheaper to buy another?

Sounds like syncros, now what B transmission is it, some have the same syncos as USDM models that you can buy parts for, adn there is at least one I know of you better have close friends in Japan to even think about finding parts for.
