Hi-flow cat and the longest resonator that you can fit under there. That will quiet it down a ton without hurting perforance very much.

Now why in the hell would he do this?? He said he wanted to NOT sacrifice performace. Why would you even bother to spend the money on a high flow cat only to bottleneck it right back down with the stock muffler.

Cause he said it wanted it to be quiet, if you think that a high flow cat. with larger then stock piping to a stock muffler is going to "bottleneck" a noticable amount of power then you might wanna consider purchsing alteeza's...nucca but you got 3000 posts n i got 150, so what would i know

from personal experience: i gained power going from a custom 2.25" pipes, with n1 muffler, to a 2.2" mandrel bent brospeed catback (regular style muffler, 22" resonator). a super free flowing/loud obnoxious exhaust isnt always best

It will bottleneck queer. Tell me how you are going to push the same amount of spent exhaust through a 2.5 inch pipe and a 1.5 inch pipe?? The stock muffler is chambered which will also restrict flow. Why would he want to chop off his Spoon N1 and throw the stock exhaust on there agian?? Yes, I may want to consider some altezzas to go with my 13.8 1/4 mile time and my SOHC turbo. I guess post count does show how much people know sometimes.

Not really man. You need a resonator. A cat and chambered muffler will quite it down, but just add a resonator to what you have. It will be just as cheap and then you can still have your performance.

you don't need to be running a stock muffler, just get a high flow cat or put the silencer back in

First off "queer" dont know where your getting the 1.5" size from, he can bolt up any stock muffler, does not have to be a muffler off a dx..........
Now back to the purpose of this post( gonna have to more specific in what i say due to people that say dumb **** on a comp. to attempt to make themselves feel superior in whatever way)

you could consider getting a stock muffler & a hi-flow cat, will be really quiet (untill WOT) and not disturb "to much" of your power, just my opinion

oh and Ricey Mchomo.... **** You and your 13.8 sohc turbo

Thanks, I had no idea I was dealing with an E-Thug. He even said in the original post that he wanted to keep his Spoon exhaust and for the same cost he can have a resonator which will outperform what you are suggesting. Cost vs. benefits shows that you are wrong sir, just as everyone else has said by going with the same idea that I have. You can take your stunna *** off of this site as far as I'm concerned, you're just upset that an 18 year old kid can put together a more coherent answer than you.

I beleive you were the first to be the e-thug when you referred to me as queer in your first post, and i beleive he said he is open to all opinions and kinda wants to keep his spoon muffler, i offered my opinion and you responed wit a smart *** remark (guess that what i get for dealing with an 18 yr. old)

Well JDM CRX VTEC best of luck with whatever you choose to do.....and with that im done wit this BS
